In our region, winter is a magical and fascinating season where everything is adorned by the white snow surroundings, attracting skiers and winter sports enthusiasts from all over Italy. But whether you know how to ski or not, there is always something beautiful to do on the snow!
In winter, Selvino is synonymous with skiing, a tradition that dates back to ancient times and has seen many champions of the national team pass through the village’s Ski Club, awarded an important recognition from CONI. The ski area has a ski school for children, a slalom track at 1,250 metres, artificially snow-covered, a new chairlift, and a convenient ascent travelator which starts right from the town centre. A place where you can ski in tranquillity, without missing the most fun descents.
And in the surrounding area, there are 5 districts with a total of 54 slopes: Spiazzi di Gromo, Monte Pora, Castione della Presolana, and Colere.

If you’re not a fan of skis, don’t worry! Just a short walk from the hotel, you’ll find everything you need to have fun on the snow without necessarily using skis: a snowboard track, an ice skating rink with fabulous shows, snowshoeing trails, or fabulous bob rides from the top of Mount Poieto. Moreover, you can always rent equipment at one of the nearby affiliated shops.
